Seminar for Mushroom Production Technology by Bureau of Plant Industry

December 7, 2021 Children’s Mission Philippines (CMP) conducted a seminar for Mushroom Production Technology, Part 1 – Preparation of Substrate and Fruiting Bag with resource speaker from Bureau of Plant Industry. Attended by the CMP staff from Community Development Department (CDD) and four (4) Mothers from Community.


29th National Children’s Month 2021

By virtue of Republic Act 10661, the National Children’s Month (NCM) in the Philippines, in commemoration with the adoption of the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child (UN CRC) on 20 November 1989, is celebrated every November.
The month –long activity aims to give attention to the difficulties experienced by children in the new normal setting such as concerns on their rights to survival, development, protection, and participation. This celebration is headed by the Council for the Welfare of Children (CWC), National Youth Commission (NYC) and the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) with the support of the CWC Board member agencies. This years’ 29th NCM theme is “New Normal na Walang Iwanan: Karapatan ng Bawat Bata Ating Tutukan!”
In participation to this yearly activity, Children’s Mission Philippines- Open Heart Children’s Village celebrated inside the Village through Sports activity wherein they have a week-long elimination of different sports like basketball, volleyball, badminton, board games and more. The elimination started from November 15-19 and held the awarding ceremony last November 20,2021.
