“THE SURVIVOR: OVERCOMING FEARS AND CHALLENGES IN THIS TIME OF PANDEMIC”


Last February 25, 2022, Philippine Academy of Esthetic Dentistry (PAED) in Cooperation with the Rotary Club of San Pablo Laguna conducted their mission for Salamin ng Kalusugan at CMP School – Molfrid Center during the celebration of 18th National Dental Health Month with the theme. They shared another great time to celebrates Oral Health Month and check in with our children and parents about dental health and making sure about to look after their smiles and take this opportunity to learn a little bit more about our teeth and mouth, they also share some great dental hygiene tips, hygiene kits for children and their parents, and also a set of computer for CMP School Moldrid Center. This group of great dentist gave the importance of tooth brushing and hand washing, they also delivered the message about being orally healthy, and how do it mirrors one’s health nowadays. According to them ” Toothbrush is a must, kahit naka Mask” in connection to our present situation because of pandemic wherein health is our first priority. It is truly “Mga munting ngiti ay walang kapalit na Salapi”.
December 23, 2021 Children’s Mission Philippines In coordination of Family Outreach Program, Conducted a street children in San Jose under the Bridge (Riverside). Family Outreach Team, share the Love of God to the children’s even to their mother who are watching the the program, and we also share a Christmas Gift pack, that can be cook for their Noche Buena (inclusive of 1kl. of Spaghetti pasta, 1kl. of Pasta Sauce, 1 can fruit cocktail, 1 block of cheese, 1 pack of milk.) Everyone enjoyed and very happy to the fun games and snacks we prepared.
This Christmas season there are people located in a geographically isolated demographic areas where they are being unremembered like the native Ita’s. CMP had set a special day of gift giving for 50 families located in the other side of the river. Even thru challenges in reaching them out still the eagerness to share the gift has made it possible.
Last December 20-22, 2021 the CMP together with Community Development Department staff enthusiastically and joyfully distributed the 1414 Christmas gift pack to its previous and current clients including senior citizen and indigenous people in different areas of Montalban, Rodriguez Rizal. Due to current pandemic, most are not totally recovered from stress and financial instability. Upon receiving the surprise Christmas gift pack recipients expresses their gratitude to Children’s Mission Philippines while holding their gift pack with an eminent expression of joyous smiles from the heart. Filled with thanksgiving for the unexpected gift, some verbalized, “thank you for remembering us” “this is my first gift I received this season”.
Truly the essence of Christmas is giving. BIG HELP FROM A BIG HEART!
