120 Days Feeding Program in Kasiglahan

In the midst of pandemic, flood and unpredictable challenging weather condition and situation, the 120 days feeding program in Kasiglahan is finally completed last September 10, 2021. The children came joyful and dressed up, accompanied by either parent and relative as scheduled. Each child received food pack and a gift of new pair of slipper.
It seems the day had passed by so fast that the beneficiaries, partner and the volunteers are in disbelief that the feeding program is already completed.
Thankful for the support of church partner God’s Fold, The Sheep of Christ Jesus spearheaded by Pastor Hermes Duran and wife as they continue feeding the physical and spiritual needs of beneficiaries, their families and the community.

Food Aid to ABC Sponsored Families (Covid 19 Pandemic)

Food Aid to ABC Sponsored Families (Covid 19 Pandemic)
August 16 – 19, 2021
The Covid 19 Pandemic has adversely affected the lives of the Filipino family, resulting in significant loss in employment and income. As breadwinner lost their jobs, many poor families found themselves not having enough food on the table. Their inability to buy food has put them to risk of hunger to the extent that they go the whole day without eating.
Thanks to ABC Children’s Aid for their enduring concern for the plight of the sponsored families during this pandemic. They have provided food aid to 470 sponsored families in the form of a sack of rice (25 kilos) and a bag of groceries to each of the family. Such gesture has put a smile to every family as they receive it.

Midst of Pandemic CNP Feeding Program

Yesterday, May 26, 2021, even in the midst of pandemic CNP completed the 120 days feeding program for 90 malnourished children. Among the beneficiaries are 60 children from Burgos, they celebrated the thanksgiving end of feeding program in morning and 30 children from Saba in the afternoon. Both areas have their own strategic program approach; in Burgos they prepared the venue creatively, each group of mothers and children had their own color code to maintain group identity and minimize number of person in and outside the church vicinity. In Saba the mother and the children came as per group schedule. Each beneficiary received their last supply of raw food pack, milk, multivitamins, toothbrush and a cup of ice cream. The CNP staff encouraged the mothers to continue what they learned about child health and nutrition. The church partners were also given a first aid kit, medicine and vitamin for their local church use in appreciation of their voluntary services.
The feeding program came to end of service but information education and counselling concerning health and nutrition will continue. An overflowing gratitude to CMP were verbalized and posted on group-chat by the mothers and church partners.
